The fourth race of the 2016 CARS Super Late Model Tour season saw the series drivers take to Hudson, North Carolina’s Tri-County Motor Speedway, with Quin posting his 4th top ten finish of the year. The Kulwicki Driver Development Program (KDDP) racer gained eight positions from his starting spot to finish 8th in the 100-lap event.

Despite a mechanical issue cutting in to the amount of practice time Quin and his LFR Development Group team had, they tried several new things during practice in an effort to make their solid racecar handle even better on the 4/10-mile oval track. Quin qualified for the race in the 16th position, with his car set-up for longer green-flag runs. The race then went the full distance without a single caution period.

“The team worked very hard with me on getting the car as good as we could,” Quin commented after the race. “Overall, our 8th place finish is a good points day, however, the team and I both know we have work to do to get back to victory lane.”

The next event for the CARS Racing Tour takes place on Saturday, June 25, at 7pm ET at Greenville Pickens Speedway in Easley, South Carolina.

“We will be working extremely hard in preparation for Greenville Pickens,” Quin concluded. “There will never be a lack of effort behind getting the #17 Chevy back to victory lane!”
