Houff at Homestead-Miami…
The Homestead-Miami Ford EcoBoost 300 weekend will be Quin’s first visit to Homestead-Miami Speedway. Quin began branding his racecars with the “BeatinCancerWithDuke.org” campaign to honor his mother and grandmother, who were both diagnosed with breast cancer. The campaign, which incorporates Quin’s Duke Cancer Institute fundraising website which launched in 2016, honors all women who are currently fighting cancer or have battled with cancer in the past. Quin Houff Quotes… “I’m very excited to be back in the racecar at Homestead for the final race of the year. I look forward to learning yet another new track and adding to my intermediate track experience. I can’t thank PPM enough for all the hard work this year and giving me the best equipment they can. The effort has surely shown and I’m eager to end the year on a high note with another strong finish. This year has been a true blessing and a dream come true. Now, it’s time to go prove that we are still the little team that can. Homestead is going to be a definite challenge for me. I have never really run a lot of tracks where the preferred line is up top. Iowa and Kentucky let me dip my toe into the water of running against the wall, but Homestead will be a whole new animal. I’ll approach this race like every other race this year. I’ll go in with my eyes and ears open and learn as much as I can, complete all the laps, bring the car home in one piece and let the results show.”
Team Owner Richard Gdovic Quotes… “Quin has done a great job this year and shown a great level of skill learning new tracks each time he raced. He has worked very well with our team who have continued to provide top quality race cars to help Quin reach his potential. We are looking forward to Quin running Homestead-Miami this week and we expect that he will have another successful race.”
